Welcome to yet another 2024 best-of list! I hope everyone’s year-end recaps whether it be Spotify Wrapped, Google Photos, or other similarly AI-generated summaries turned out to everyone’s satisfaction. (Mine were great — for example, this year I got the special video you get when you are in the top echelon of an artist’s fans on Spotify and scored a thank you message from Jamie and Nicky of my fave band of all time Manic Street Preachers!)

Got this book as a birthday present from my wonderful husband who knows how much I love sneakers! Also because I saw this in the store when we were shopping together, and I basically told him to buy it for me. The cover has a photo of classic Nikes; however I decided to screenshot a different brand featured in the book. Because what 80s kid didn’t have a real or knockoff pair of Reeboks back in the day, am I right? I mean not that I could do aerobics any better than I could play basketball, but still.
