About Me — Marmi Le

Are you also INFJ and a Jeopardy loser? Then we have stuff in common — First, thanks to fellow MBTI “The Advocate” Quy Ma for accepting me as a writer here! Let’s get right to it then. As you can tell from the above photo, one thing About Me is that I am a political news junkie. In fact, I’ve namechecked various CNN personalities…

Visited here for the first time after moving to Denver a few years ago, but only this summer I will attend my first concert there, am super pumped! The four of us (me, hubs, and two middle schoolers) will see a recreation of The Beatles' 1964 show at Red Rocks!! Did you know that out of all the venues on that first US tour, only 4 are still standing, and of course Red Rocks is one of them. Yeah yeah yeah!

Bookmarking this Emperor to read later but I really want to watch this one as I grew up reading all of Judy Blume's books! Especially AYTGIMM is a freaking classic. My husband has no interest so I will either have to watch alone or drag my daughter who I hope can relate. But it is from such a different era that she might tune out. You know kids these days! Somewhat related but I have even read her adult book In The Unlikely Event which got bad reviews, but I liked it. By any chance do you have a review of that one?

In celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month — Welcome to Part Dalawa of my AAPI Heritage Month 2023 series (Part Isa here)! Let’s cut to the chase. This one and what you've written about Aftersun really has me thinking!

This one and what you've written about Aftersun really has me thinking! I really enjoyed the Super Mario Bros movie, while that was not the case with Aftersun. I think if the movie accomplishes the goal of what you wanted to get out of it going in, then that's my…

I can't believe this is only 144 pieces and it looks so fantastic! It's old-skool LEGO in appearance yet has everything you need and nothing more. I'll look this up to buy online for my son. Thanks for a great article as always Attila!

She seriously emailed me an invitation — Last week I received this lovely email directly from Angie (I can call her Angie cuz we tight like that) and Court and was so excited! But unfortunately, I have a conflict on that date, sad face emoji. …

I only really know Juice Newton :D But "Angel of the Morning" was a banger to be sure, really holds up. Recently I was adding to my catch-all "Liked Songs" Spotify playlist by just going over their 70s mix that they auto-recco'd to me. I was going down the list of songs clickin' on those hearts like crazy! 70s and early 80s were an amazing time for music. Bread, Neil Diamond, Linda Rondstadt, etc. Speaking of Linda, I have my next The Riff submission outlined in my Drafts folder :D
